Vaccine Policy
Family Pet Veterinary requires all dogs to have both the Rabies vaccine as well as the Canine Distemper combo vaccine (DHPP). We also require all cats to have the Rabies vaccine as well as the Feline Distemper combo vaccine (FVRCP). Our policy is guided by both the AAHA vaccination guidelines as well as the AAFP vaccination guidelines.
Heartworm Policy
Family Pet Veterinary requires a yearly heartworm test on every dog following the American Heartworm Society's recommendations. This test allows us to prescribe heartworm prevention knowing your pet is heartworm free.
Payment Policy
Family Pet Veterinary requires payment in full at time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash and checks. At this time, we do not offer any payment plans and we do not accept Care Credit.
